Some Housekeeping Notes

Just a quick post this morning. No, it’s not about housekeeping, at least in not the dusting and cleaning toilets sort of way. Although I did take a break over the weekend to do just that. This is about some things dealing with going wide.

First, if you purchased any of the first six novels in the Nocturnal Lives series (Nocturnal Origins through to Nocturnal Revelations) on Amazon, you may need to go to your “manage my content” dashboard to manually push through the updated files. If you do so, you will get the new covers as well as some new front and back matter, including the links to the newsletter and information on how to get the new–and exclusive–short story prequel, Wolf’s Prey.

Second, if you haven’t signed up for the newsletter–another way to get Wolf’s Prey–you can do so here.

Finally, at least for the moment, I just uploaded Battle Flight, Vengeance from Ashes, Duty from Ashes and Honor from Ashes to Draft2Digital. That means the books should start appearing on the other major online outlets in the next 48 hours or so. So if you prefer buying from them instead of Amazon, here’s your chance.

I also updated the Amazon files. In 48 hours or so, you should be able to update your Kindle files by going to your dashboard, finding the title and clicking update. I am also waiting for Amazon to unclusterfuck whatever the hell they did with the numbering and titling of the series. The last communication I had from them said it would take up to a week before I heard back. So I am waiting. In the meantime, there is no such problem with the series name or number in the series on the other outlets.

Now, as for the freebie for this series, it will be available the end of the summer/early fall and this is noted in the front matter for the books. Again, it will be an exclusive available only to those who sign up for the newsletter or follow a link that will be updated in the books upon release of the story.

I think that’s it for the moment. Time to get back to work.
